Isn't everyone a little bipolar? There are good days and bad days, days when the abyss seems dangerously close. The title ‘Happy bipolar’ should therefore be read ironically, as it transforms the seriousness of this overused diagnosis into something light-hearted, even cheerful.
Some steps in life are taken in the light, some in the dark. Often, this happens in parallel, making it difficult to distinguish between the two. This is shown by the footprints in the picture, accompanied by states of being, such as seeing, being, loving, laughing... With each step, moods can also change, swinging back and forth between light and dark. Learning to deal with this, to allow for ups and downs, is in turn a challenge that can fill life with great joy – happy bipolar, in fact!
