Project Morgenland
Eva's work with Syrian refugees
Since 2015, Eva has been supporting Syrian refugees, and that autumn she joined a group of local volunteers when many Syrians reached Germany; many had nothing, and a lot of help was needed.
On New Year's Eve, Eva invited them to her party and they offered to cater the food. It was so delicious that Eva's thought was, "this needs to become a business".
In 2018, the little Restaurant "Projekt Morgenland" began and quickly became a big success. In spring 2024, the restaurant moved into a bigger place, a project managed by Eva. Her brother and son are also involved in the business and are a perfect example of successful integration and cross-culture business.
