In and out of colour. Work is done in the blanks. Being a mother and an artist requires rethinking about the ways that art has to be created, especially in times of the Covid-19 pandemic. “Art takes time. Art takes rest. Art requires complete immersion”. Who decides these things? Art needs to cross borders, needs to overcome challenges and to grow above itself. The work “Happy Me” symbolizes the joy and ravenous artistic power this brings.
