The second piece in the ‘Who killed’ series is dedicated to Jina Mahsa Amini. A woman who was killed because she did not wear her headscarf ‘properly’. It remains unclear how many women have been tortured, raped and murdered on the streets and in prisons in Iran over the past few weeks. It remains inconceivable.

The ‘Who killed’ series is part of a larger cycle, inspired by the book ‘The Eva Manifesto’. It examines the development of human history since the dawn of civilisation and the missteps that have led to the present day. It sheds light on why women experience so much violence – answering the question ‘who killed’.
